1. Mr. Ar Rm Arun, Founder Chairman

Mr. Ar Rm Arun is an Entrepreneur with a vision of building businesses that transcend time. This vision is made possible by perfecting & growing global deliveries while promoting a Values’ based society

Mr. Arun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering from the Regional Engineering College, Trichy, India and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York, Stony Brook, USA. His specialization was in the field of VLSI Design. Having initially been with Polaroid Corp, Cambridge, Massachusetts, he later worked for Intel Corp, Santa Clara, California.

Mr. Arun heads the Valingro Group of Companies that he established over 27 years ago. The Group has well-established presence in Semiconductor Test Engineering & Automation, Semiconductor Packaging, Engineering & Consultancy, Enterprise IT, Trading, Cleansing & Farming and Packaged Foods Distribution. With a focus on niche businesses that highlight India’s strengths, the Valingro Family spans 400.

Parameters Mr. Arun feels are essential include Long-term Partnerships, Mutual Trust, Compliances, Continuing Innovation, Profitable Growth, Envisioning the Future and importantly, Concern for Others. Mr. Arun believes success is recognizable only if repeatedly sustained.

Mr. Arun had been Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Chennai with the Consular Jurisdiction over the State of Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Puducherry from Sep 2018 to Jan 2026. This appointment was especially considering Mr. Arun’s personal integrity, extensive background, industry experience and continued commitment to strengthening and deepening bilateral relations between the Czech Republic and India.

Mr. Arun is Former President of the Southern India Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SICCI), Chennai. Having been on SICCI’s Executive Committee since Apr 2002, Mr. Arun has been VP since Sep 2016, Sr.VP since Sep 2018 and President from Aug 2020 to Sep 2023.

Mr. Arun has been on the National Executive Committee of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry(FICCI) during Dec 2005-2023. Mr. Arun has been FICCI Tamil Nadu State Council (TNSC) Chairman from Dec 2016 till Dec 2018.

Towards promoting a Values’ based society, Mr. Arun has been driving Socio Economic Contribution (S-E-C) within the Valingro Group. S-E-C is about social service starting within our own 4 walls by inculcating right thinking. This is promoted by the philosophy that every human having to be a catalyst for positive change & every human having to make a difference to at least one other.

Mr. Arun is Managing Trustee of The Arun Public Charitable Trusts (TAPCT). With the objective of society upliftment, TAPCT enables free Primary Healthcare Centres & Drinking-Water facilities to under-privileged Villages in India. TAPCT also enables free Health & Society Centres for urban society. TAPCT also supports restoration of Heritage Structures. In addition, TAPCT extends financial assistance to the needy.

2. Mrs. Valli Arun, President

Mrs. Valli Arun is President of the Valingro Group. A Biotechnology graduate from Anna University, Chennai, India, Mrs. Arun pursued her project research at RPR Gencell, located in Santa Clara, California. Mrs. Arun has trained at the National Institute of Medical Research, located at Mill Hill, London, UK and at the Department of Biochemistry, Oxford University, UK.

Mrs. Arun mentors the Valingro HR Forum (VHRF), ensuring effective HR practices across the Valingro Group. Mrs. Arun also mentors the Valingro Cultural & Social Committee (VCSC) that furthers Employee interactions & CSR initiatives among Valingro's Companies - under this initiative, a variety of awareness Programs, cultural interactions & social actions are being implemented.

Mrs. Arun was a Trustee of the Tamil Isai Sangam, Chennai. In this role she played an integral part in designing the ‘Thol Isai Kalanjiyam’ - a Museum of Ancient Musical Instruments. She considers the ‘Thol Isai Kalanjiyam’ a responsibility towards conserving Indian culture & contribution to posterity. Mrs. Arun's strong interests in classical Tamil Music & popularizing traditional Dance-Arts, enhanced developments within the Sangam, making it a globally visible institution.

Mrs. Arun is former Executive Committee Member of the Southern India Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SICCI)Within SICCI, Mrs. Arun Chaired the SICCI-360° Committee that conducted record-breaking Monthly programs drawing upon eminent Guests who have contributed towards Societal improvement..
